Anush Ghukasyan (b. 1985) and Ani Qananyan (b. 1990) live and work in Yerevan. Both ceramicists, trained at the State Academy of Fine Arts of Armenia, faculty of decorative and applied arts, they have taken part in numerous exhibitions in Armenia and abroad, as well as in international residency programmes in Italy, Germany and Denmark.
Material matters as much as form: porcelain and stoneware, glazes and pigments, between inherited gesture and contemporary research. Both share a common reflection on the processes of making and on inherited techniques, exploring how traditional Armenian forms are carried on, transformed and brought up to date, between heritage and research. At the Ceramic Art Fair, their pieces enter into dialogue with the exhibition Regards croisés, led by Muscari and the Musée arménien de France around the craft of Armenian ceramics; they will be unveiled at the Maison de l'Amérique latine.

Two complementary worlds. Arman Vahanyan composes mental landscapes with nervous lines, deep blacks and fine grains, through lithography, linocut and etching. Tigran Sahakyan works oil-heightened woodcut and aquatint, in dark surfaces where serial motifs return, between signs and imprints.
